Bosch - Diesel Systems wins CII-Exim Bank Award for Business Excellence |

Bangalore: Bosch – Diesel Systems, which predominantly manufactures auto components for Diesel Engines and Vehicles was honored with the CII Exim Bank Award for Business Excellence for the year 2009 at the CII Annual Quality Summit at New Delhi. The award was received by the Bosch Bangalore Plant Management – Mr. S. M. Hegde (VP – Commercial) and Mr. Suresh B. R (VP – Technical)
CII and Export-Import (EXIM) Bank of India jointly established the Award for Business Excellence in 1994 with the aim to enhance the competitiveness of India Industry.
"This award is testimony to our business excellence which has been and will continue to be one of the strong pillars for realizing our future vision and business objectives. The Award is based on the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) Model for Excellence – a coveted Award for Businesses across the world. The EFQM Excellence Model is a framework for organisational management systems, and designed for helping organisations in their drive towards being more competitive.
The Diesel Systems Division at Bangalore deployed the EFQM Excellence Model in 2005. This has resulted in integration of all business practices in the organization, enabling strong internal and external customer satisfaction focus.
Bosch won the award based upon the company’s demonstrated excellence with respect to its various stakeholders (customer, employees, society and shareholders) through excellent practices in people, processes and partnerships.
The award also recognizes the company’s strong commitment to Business Excellence through Leadership, focus on processes and systems through Bosch Production System and people involvement at all levels. |
